MakerBot & Ultimaker merger completed by Stratasys

Stratasys announced it had closed a merger between subsidiary, MakerBot and Dutch desktop 3D printer brand – Ultimaker.
Already the world-leader in industrial 3D printing, the merger sets the stage for Stratasys and partners to further their supremacy in the world of desktop 3D printing, a future that is made brighter through the combination of Ultimaker and MakerBot software, hardware and materials.
Owing to the merger, NPM Capital now owns 53.5% of the combined company, Ultimaker, with Stratasys owning 46.5%.
