We are delighted to announce that OPS will now be able to sell and support both Objet and Stratasys systems in the UK & Ireland.
Following the merger of two world-leading businesses in 3D design and manufacturing, OPS has expanded its representation of the Objet product range to include Stratasys “additive manufacturing” portfolio of services and is to extend its premises and recruit additional engineers.
Said Managing Director Andrew Fulton: “We have represented Objet in the UK for three years and installed some 90 3D printers across the spectrum of design studios, research and development, medical, aerospace, architectural and manufacturing sectors plus education involving schools and universities. With the addition of the Stratasys technology this will increase our specialisation providing a total envelope of 3D technology from a single source.”
With the addition of Stratasys, OPS is now offering and supporting three leading technologies, FDM® for functional prototypes and production parts, PolyJet® for prototyping parts with high feature detailing and fine surface finishing and Solidscape® Drop-on-Demand (DoD) wax jetting systems for complex patterns used in investment casting of finished components.
Added Mr Fulton: “This merger of two leading technologies fits exactly into our expansion plans to extend our facilities at Foston and recruit further engineers for sales, application and service roles.”
