Fully Heated Chamber 95°C
Maintains a consistent thermal environment across the full 1000mm build length. Critical for dimensional accuracy and warp-free results on large tooling — especially with Nylon 12CF. The longest fully heated chamber available in industrial FDM.
Regenerative Drying System
Factory floors aren’t climate-controlled labs. Integrated dryer bays keep materials at peak condition — dry wet material, keep dry material dry. Reduces operator intervention, material-related variability, and failed builds.
Three New Print Heads
N14 for fine resolution (0.18mm), N20H hardened for carbon-fiber composites (0.25mm), and N25 high-speed for maximum throughput (0.33mm). Match the output to the application — precision tooling or high-volume fixtures.
Bigger parts.
Longer runs.
Lower cost per tool.
The F870 supports up to two weeks of continuous, unattended printing. Large 4,100cc spools, automatic material changeover and onboard drying keep long builds running without operator intervention. Start a build on Friday and come back to finished tooling.
The F870 shares its high-capacity spool design with the F3300. That common consumable platform simplifies inventory, reduces downtime and gives you the flexibility to move materials across your FDM fleet as application demands change.
The F870’s new N25 high-speed print head prints ASA at up to 66 cubic centimetres per hour, up to twice the rate of the standard N14 head. Large parts move through production faster without sacrificing accuracy.
N25 High-Speed Head
Built for maximum throughput, the N25 prints ASA at up to two times the speed of the standard head at 0.33mm layer resolution. Ideal for high-volume fixtures, large prototypes and rapid-turnaround work.
Choose the Right Head for the Job
The N14 covers ASA, ABS-M30 and ABS Draft across three layer resolutions for precision tooling and detailed fixtures. The N20H has a hardened drive and tip for FDM Nylon 12CF composite parts. The N25 delivers maximum speed. Match the head to the application on the same machine.
Automatic Material Changeover
Four 4,100cc material spools with automatic changeover mean the printer moves to a fresh spool without stopping. Combined with onboard drying, long builds run start to finish with minimal intervention.

The F870 is purpose-built for the factory floor, not the prototyping lab. Its reliability starts with a fully heated chamber, onboard material conditioning and a consumable platform designed for long, repeatable production runs.

Fully Heated 95°C Chamber
A consistent thermal environment across the full one-metre build length is critical for dimensional accuracy and warp-free results on large tooling, especially with Nylon 12CF. The F870 has the longest fully heated chamber available in industrial FDM.
Regenerative Drying System
The integrated drying system dries wet material and keeps dry material dry across all four spool bays. Materials stay at optimal condition throughout a build, reducing operator intervention and protecting long prints from moisture-related failures.
One Support System Across Every Material
A single soluble support material, SR-35, works across the entire material line-up. Switching applications does not mean switching support systems, and materials can be swapped in under 20 minutes.
Production-Grade Accuracy
XY part accuracy of ±0.254mm or ±0.002mm/mm, whichever is greater, with Z accuracy of ±0.200mm or ±0.002mm/mm plus one layer height. Derived from statistical data at 95% dimensional yield, so large tooling comes off the platform ready to work.
Nine Materials at Launch
FDM Nylon 12CF for high-strength composite tooling, ASA in six colours, ABS-M30 and the new cost-effective ABS Draft for large prototypes. Every material is selected for the mechanical, thermal and chemical demands of production tooling.
Factory-Ready Workflow
Program jobs with GrabCAD Print or Insight, upgrade to GrabCAD Print Pro for labelling, textures, arrays and part cost estimation. MTConnect connectivity integrates the F870 with factory monitoring systems, and mobile monitoring is built in.
