SYS Systems Showcases the Future of Additive Manufacturing at a Record-Breaking MACH 2026

SYS Systems has returned from MACH 2026 at the NEC Birmingham having delivered its strongest show performance to date, with live demonstrations of the Origin Two and the introduction of Silicone 25A material capturing significant interest from manufacturers exploring the expanding boundaries of additive manufacturing.

Meeting Manufacturers Where Additive Is Heading

Stand 20-320 at MACH 2026 was built around a clear principle: every solution on display had to answer a challenge that manufacturers are facing today.

For SYS Systems, that challenge is one that is rapidly evolving. Additive manufacturing has moved well beyond prototyping, and manufacturers across a broad range of sectors are now asking a more demanding question: can 3D printing produce end-use parts that perform in the real world, at production volumes, from materials that genuinely suit the application? At MACH 2026, SYS Systems provided a compelling answer.

Origin Two and Silicone 25A: Production-Grade Additive in Practice

Taking a prominent position on the stand was the Origin Two, demonstrated alongside sample parts produced in the new Silicone 25A material. Visitors were not simply shown what the technology could do; they were able to handle the parts themselves.

That distinction mattered. Flexible, durable, end-use parts produced additively from silicone represent a development that many manufacturers have been watching closely. The ability to hold those parts, assess their properties and discuss their production directly with SYS Systems specialists translated into a level of engagement that brochures and case studies cannot replicate. For manufacturers in sectors such as medical, automotive, consumer products and industrial equipment, where silicone components have traditionally demanded costly and time-consuming tooling, the implications are considerable.

The volume of enquiries generated across the five days reflected exactly that level of interest.

Part of a Broader Statement of Intent

SYS Systems attended MACH 2026 as part of Carfulan Group’s largest ever presence at the show, with all five of the Group’s divisions represented on Stand 20-320. For visitors, that context added further weight to the additive manufacturing conversation: the ability to discuss 3D printing alongside metrology, tool management, large-scale measurement and turned part inspection within a single visit is something no other UK partner can offer.

As Carfulan Group Managing Director Chris Fulton noted during the show: “Clients continually talk about the frustration of going to different suppliers for what they need and the lack of a joined-up approach. We can negate all of this by offering all types of solutions in one place.” SYS Systems is an integral part of that proposition, enabling manufacturers to not only produce components more freely but to measure, validate and bring them to market more efficiently as part of a joined-up process.
